He was born in 1973 in Friesland on a dairy farm called the Reamskutel (Cream dish). He is inspired by a large number of different styles, ranging from gospel, instrumental music, sixties psychedelia, folk, progressive rock to jazz. Harm is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and tries to add a spiritual note to all of his compositions.
